Important Update: Phishing Email Alert

We want to make you aware of a phishing email that has recently been sent to some individuals from what appeared to be a legitimate account within our organisation.

Please rest assured that we have taken immediate action to secure the compromised account and stop further phishing emails from being sent. Additionally, an investigation is currently underway to fully assess and address the situation.

To help protect yourself and others, please keep the following phishing awareness tips in mind:

1. Do not interact with the email:

If you have received the phishing email, delete it immediately. Avoid clicking any links, downloading attachments, or replying to the message. The suspicious emails to be aware of are linked to information about Cypto Wallets or an application called “ebox”

2. If you’ve clicked a link or submitted information:

  • Immediately change any passwords associated with the information you may have entered.
  • Monitor your accounts for unusual activity.
  • Perform and Anti-virus check on your computer.

3. Be vigilant for future phishing attempts:

  • Always verify the sender's email address, especially if the request seems urgent or unusual.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive information via email unless you are absolutely certain of the recipient’s identity.
